Missouri was purple leaning blue when I moved here in 1993. The DNCC got complacent about huge sections of the country not on either coast, and the Republicans began gerrymandering us to bits in the early 2000s. The 2 are connected. We are in a deep hole.

St. Louis MO here. We welcome all 3, please come! It might be test balloons but critically, it's about realizing that Democrats ignore the vast majority of non-coastal America. MO has been a gerrymandered GOP supermajority for something like 25 yrs.

I think if he actually goes after Social Security in any meaningful way, the dam will likely break.
