We identified 6 species in Enterobacter, E. coli, Klebsiella, Citrobacter; multiple plasmids, different NDMs, across 7 hospitals; a combination of likely plasmid movements and small clonal outbreaks. Clearly, carbapenem resistant bacteria solidly established in the UK and here to stay...
