Kaede is a daffodil, specifically a double daffodil. They symbolize rebirth, often grow in snow, and are sometimes called roses of may - Kaede being a "false rose" compared to her Azem's true one pleases me. (also Beatrix reference.)
Linnaea is a twinflower (linnaea borealis) for obvious reasons.

I joke a lot about how blue kaede is, but honestly the color she overall wears more than anything is black. I made her a little lookbook type thing before DT launched with an assortment of canon outfits, and there definitely is a lot of void blue lmao but tbh she likes most dark/rich colors.
