... though I imagine in the age of Bronze, it was someone's job to protect supplies and tools to work the metal. In the information age.. who guards the integrity of information?

Remember that we didn't really come to grips with the Holocaust until the 70s. And it seems like everything after that has favored denial or historical amnesia.
