Got my wife a concrete porch goose for her birthday and I sewed a smart little dress out of scrap fabric. Admittedly, I wasn't sure whether to do arm holes or just treat it like a poncho. In the end, I went with poncho but I tried to give the "shoulders" some structure.

My second modern garment.
Made with a deep blue brushed twill and top stitched with brown thread. It's a cross of a French chore coat and a military field jacket.
Vintage copper buttons and a half lining out of an old curtain. Buttonholes finished by hand.
I'm unreasonably proud of this one.
