To me the #Eurovision 2026 stage is a perfect metaphor for where the contest now is when you compare it to 2015. The colour, creativity, the fun, and originality is gone.
I LOVED the 2015 stage in person and on screen. It was exciting and memorable.

In regards to Strictly we are at the point where my Mum is somehow more passionate about Karen winning than I am 😂 she says "it's a disgrace if she doesn't win". To be fair I have voted for her every week so would love Kaz to win however I know it's really close between her and George. #SCD

It's a real shame because without Israel we could be back at 40 or close to 40 competing countries. Unfortunately with 35 you can still have a good contest I wish it was less because I stand with those countries boycotting because of Israel. #eurovision

Oh my France wins JESC well deserved they are definitely a power house of the Contest they are due a main win soon but again in 2026 I'll want it to be anyone but Israel although I probably won't watch the contest and I'll hold out hope for 27.

🇮🇪 In a statement made by RTÉ, the Irish broadcaster confirmed that #Ireland would not participate in #eurovision2026 if Israel was allowed to compete. Ireland now joins Iceland, Spain and The Netherlands. These countries have also declared they will withdraw should Israel compete.

So well done to the 4 country's so far who have withdrawn. This facilitates one country the easy solution was to suspend them for a year because of the Voting and Government funded ads but no let's change the rules which I welcome but there should have been more consequences.
