Portugal sent all-female group Doce in 1982, singing "Bem Bom". The group's name is the Portuguese word for "sweet". Dressed in a kind of "Adam Ant meets Aneka" style, they finished in a rather lowly 13th place at the end of voting, with a total of 32 points.

In 1962 Marion Rung represented Finland with the rather perky "Tipi-Tii". She finished in a respectable 7th place out of a field of sixteen and would return to the contest in 1973, when she would improve on her 1962 result by one place.

Baby Doll (or Bebi Dol) represented Yugoslavia in 1991 with the rather fabulous "Brazil". Sadly she received only one point (from Malta) and placed second to last. She was also the last official Eurovision entry from Yugoslavia before it de facto ceased to exist.
