#BiH: For the 1st time, #BHRT employees will protest in front of the Parliament on 27 Nov. Our full solidarity with #BHRT staff, who are fighting to prevent the destruction of the public broadcaster. If not resolved very soon, the crisis will soon make it impossible for them to continue their work.

In the Western Balkans, the conversation around #AI in journalism is in its early stages, and it's a challenging one as the constant attacks on journalists dominate discussions. Despite lack of awareness and guidelines, journalists do use AI. "We must learn from other countries," said Anja Anđušić.

Throughout history unions have been facing the challenge of protecting workers’ rights while adapting to technological change. In this panel, we will discuss how unions can support journalists during the #AI transition through collective bargaining, mobilisation and youth-oriented strategies. #SUJ
