EURL-PH-DIPE is an EU funded nonprofitable project. The main objective of EURL-PH-DIPE is to support ECDC and the national reference laboratories to tackle diphtheria and pertussis in Europe.
Diphtheria is a vaccine preventable disease. Unfortunately it is still lethal, especially among vulnerable individuals as the latest outbreak study from Germany shows. (Euro Surveill.2025;30(27):pii= 2500116.). Act smart and take the vaccine to prevent diptheria.
