Rating anything lower than an 8 is a very rare occurrence for me and my average rating is like 8.5, so yeah
Because of that, not all of the stuff on here is probably as good as that, but I could never bring myself to rate things lower if I just enjoyed them that much

Cosmic Princess Kaguya! - 10/10
So yuriful....
But even that aside, it's a really great movie
A modern take on a folklore, lots of twists and amazing characters to root for
Also by FAR the best score of the year so far, the music is so fucking good

My Hero Academia Season 1 - 9/10
My Hero is really fucking fun when you actually watch it and don't listen to people telling you how terrible it is
The characters are fun, I don't see how people dislike Deku that much
So far All Might is still def the pinnacle of the cast though

Petting a Dog - 10/10
Artistic masterpiece from start to finish
Simple but catching topic, masterful execution
The feeling of it all is unlike anything you have ever felt before
Truly a masterpiece of our time

Project Sekai Movie – A Miku Who Can’t Sing - 10/10
Amazing movie all around
The characters and music are obviously the main feature, the story is basic but still catchy
Overall definitely a movie you won't get as much out of if you are unfamiliar with PJSK and its chars though

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann The Movie: Childhood's End - 9/10
It's suprisingly good for condencing 13 or so episodes into movie length, but causes the movie to skip much of the less important things
It balances that out by making the peaks even greater, but watch the anime first

Absolutely amazing story and characters, the pacing was amazing and the splitting the show in two parts works really well
Incredible soundtrack and peaks, will be thinking back about this for a very long time

Black Lagoon Season 2 + Roberta's Blood Trail - 9/10
It's like the first season, except better in every way!
Actually more interesting Arcs and side characters, especially the Vampire Twins (god,,,) and Fabiola
I still want Revy and Balalaika to do things to me

Fun action and characters, I need Revy and Balalaika to do things to me
Overall very enjoyable, though it doesn't have anything big to stand out, especially compared to its later entries

I heard this is so good...

But usually I would say I enjoy most 10 rated Anime as much as most of the 9 rated anime while watching them
The main difference to me of whether something is a 10 or 9 is whether I keep thinking about it for a while after finishing it, instead of going on with my life as normal

The only thing which I pay more attention to nowadays are 10s
I feel like those really are reserved for special things, and I often experience something greater than it might have been because I'm very emotional

Like when I watch something I just watch to enjoy, not watch to analyze
I never go much under the surface because it's not something that matters to me a whole lot
If I just have a decently fun time with something, I don't see how I could rate it lower than 7, or an 8 most of the time even
