Hey some fun news to share! I’m going to be participating in Print Slam 22 which will be held at SVA’s RisoLab this Friday (7/25) from 5-8pm! I will have two riso printed zines available for sale.

Finally got around to finishing this watercolor and ink painting. Overall pretty happy with the colors in this. Do need to work more on patterning as it’s not my forte.

Long time no post, here are a couple of watercolors I’ve done in the past month.

All were done in my 4”x6” etchr sketchbook

The first two are from a model posing.
The last two watercolors are interpretations/experimentations based on works by Chōkōsai Eishō and Sandro Botticelli.

Finally finished this watercolor painting I’ve been working on! Definitely challenging but also learned a lot in the process. Looking forward to displaying it for an upcoming show I’ll be participating in 😊
A watercolor painting of a Korean dish called gyeran-jjim. The gyeran-jjim is an egg soufflé type dish and has sprinkled carrot bits with some scallions. It rests in a blackish stoneware bowl on top of a dark mahogany board. On the dark brown/black table are are gold crackling patterns. In addition to the main dish, behind it are two small metallic bowls that contain side dishes.

Got out the hwatu cards and got my fortune for this year ✨

Meant to post these yesterday, hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

It was a lovely day and best of all was the breakfast I made for my parents, Crème brûlée French Toast with oven baked bacon 😋

I’m participating in the Art Students League annual Art sale!

I made a Pecan pie slab using a recipe by Claire Saffitz today!
