Barbano recognized the contribution given by the RFPU Officers from French Gendarmerie Nationale, Italian Carabinieri, Dutch Koninklijke Marechaussee, Polish Żandarmeria Wojskowa & Portuguese Guarda Nacional Republicana, to support EULEX in contributing to everyone's safety and security.

What’s next? The newly designed 3-week management training will be delivered during spring 2026.

This will contribute towards developing the sustainable in-service training within the KCS to enhance rehabilitative and safer human rights based correctional system.

Justice should be accessible to victims whenever they find the courage to speak, not restricted by deadlines.

They highlighted challenges such as misogynistic attacks, lack of support rooted in patriarchal norms & gaps in protection. All agreed: hate speech must be recognized, reported & addressed. EULEX remains committed to supporting institutions to protect women in public life.
