Don’t expect the government to do a God-damned thing. That’s a good attitude to avoid disappointment.

Don’t mistake me for a real swashbuckler, for I am a pirate of the spirit; at the whims of the breeze on the vast and eternal ocean.

This platform is for fun and creativity. Don’t talk to me about the news, I only want to hear about the world you see from inside your own head.

“Drug Use for Grown-Ups” by Dr. Carl Hart is a worthy and almost necessary read these days.

What constitutes a “drug problem” these days? Because my co-worker is on Xanax everyday, and I’m not supposed to be stoned?

Love should be a consensual matter, not a contractual one.

I have this device in my hands at all times, just finger taps away from contacting anyone I could possibly think of. Yet here I find most all of my thoughts, stuck within the confines of this little box.

Ships Log: Never I saw a day so entombed in the frigid stone-still fog as I do now. The air is stagnant and the sails are loose.

I’ll commit to keeping this a-political and allegorical. The stories of the way humans have behaved throughout time can give us great solace.

Pleasure is not a sin. Like everything else we tempt and torture ourselves over, embrace it and learn, or live in fear of its power.

This is the “Sopranos” effect. We give a pass and moral regard for those that KILL AND MURDER but paint a shameful and derogatory picture of “drug” users and those ENJOYING THEMSELVES!

Question: Have you ever done SEX or DRUGS!? You should try one sometime.

Dorsey does it again.
I’ve seen enough to make a call: Bluesky is going to be a legit competitor to Twitter.

Sweet.

What video games give you that serene feeling. For me, I still love riding my horse and exploring the world of Red Dead Redemption 2. It is pure joy to experience.

As with movies, I wish more #videogames portrayed beautiful, utopia exploration qualities, and a little bit less gun battling.

Not that I don’t mind some good ol’ virtual death matches on occasion. But FFS for Call of Duty to be the norm. Yikes 😬

The Men-Who-Built-The-Earth are stolid and unstoppable. Their tectonic torrents and tirades move mountains, and create rifts and valleys and sanctuaries for the safe keeping of all the creatures of the Earth.

I intend to use this account for more creativity and thought construction, rather than political noise. Though we can’t deny the buzz that generates in our systems, I think we are greater than our political limitations.
