18.8% FG…another start to a game of cold shooting

After being buried in fog and temps in the 30’s here for the last 7 days…it’s enough to take almost any job anywhere, where there is a promise of seeing the sun during PNW valley winters.

Middle of the road FT and no 3 pt threat let alone decent team shooting(18% tonight) has been waiting to bite us…got close tonight…won’t be able to compete in big games or quality opponents until that’s different. This team is that close to being very, very good

Lots of things to like about this team, especially compared to lat year. I do worry about the poor 3 point shooting and the fundamentally poor FT shooting that will cost us conference games when complete games are needed to squeak out a game.

That 0-10 shooting start, oof!

Air Force was very small, 5’11 was their tallest player.

Here in Eugene on sports radio, both 95.3 and 102.9, local guys, obviously the ducks, but between the 2 stations, their nat’l shows, especially the betting shows are all in on PSU.

Not only coming off a bye and giving them two weeks to scheme/install against us…but there is “Super Bowl” aspect in the ability to create laser focus against such a singular event of magnitude. Lots of things stacked up against us. The ability to survive it is what the take away is

Ken was a man about town, frequently seen at all kinds of events and just hanging out in general. And yes, Nancy’s is very much a going concern these days!
