This is precisely the kind of government coercion that the First Amendment was designed to prevent — and media companies need to start standing up rather than capitulating to it.
It's actually worse than that. Twenty-four states have multiple District Court subdivisions. New York, California, and Texas have four in each. In total, there are 94 federal judicial districts.
