I suspect there might be something up too BUT tiktok has accounts on other social media too, and there are other sm platforms on tt too advertising. I also got the same link with tt when I opened the clapper. So who knows.

This comment is funny to me because obviously the government found tiktok to be a pretty scary tool of manipulation otherwise they wouldn't have gone through this trouble.

I'm not spring chicken but I've never been through this. I've had apps that just naturally got replaced by other apps and then disappeared when no-one used them. I didn't have the government force it away.
