Like Henry VIII's commissioners, Shadow and I undertook our own mini Valor Ecclesiasticus survey of the lands of Chertsey Abbey this afternoon, from the Abbey site, down Monk's Lane, and finding remnants of the medieval almonry in the surviving landscape...
