#EU_WISH 2nd International Workshop will take place from 6–8 October 2026 at @ages.at in Vienna, Austria!

It addresses European experts, partners, and stakeholders to discuss latest developments in wastewater surveillance.

📢 Outcomes from the EU-WISH International Workshop!

Experts worked together to define priorities for:

* Respiratory and emerging pathogens
* Antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
* Polio- and non-polio enteroviruses
* Illicit drugs, chemicals, and health-related biomarkers

The EU-WISH training on "Automated reporting for wastewater-based surveillance" by Sciensano has received 97 fully completed applications.

The selection process is now underway, and all registrants will be informed of the outcome by 6 October 2025.
