Overall I was fine with it, and can't beat the space savings. You do have the machine occupied for longer, so you lose the ability to wash a load in one and dry a load in the other at the same time, but its also set and forget and it's all done at the end of the cycle so theres that.

My parents had an LG all-in-one. Constantly called warranty on it because the pump would fail. They (for some reason) bought another LG after which seems more reliable. Nice that they don't have to be vented outside, but I found usually had to run an extra dry cycle. Dunno if other brands do better.

An improvement is still an improvement! I caught covid in 2021 and my sense of smell is still about half of what it used to be. I used to be hyper sensitive to smells but not catches my attention anymore. Not even when someone spilled a container of mineral spirits by me... That was a weird one.

I have a really bad feeling this shit is gonna come back around one of these days and hit us really hard in some way. Seeing how quickly and how badly this type of shit happens is deeply unsettling.

I'm going to keep spraying wd-40 and hope they eventually come loose. I'd rather not have to take a grinder to them... Will be replacing with plastic caps
