Made some knitting progress on my tropical vacation! 🧶🌴🌅

The motif looks like a fern or feather, starting narrower near the neckline and widening in the middle before narrowing again towards the tip. The sleeve stitches are held on cables with stoppers as the torso is the section being worked now; there are about 8 inches of progress below the end of the yoke/motif section.

A yoke style sweater in the process of being knit, on a long circular knitting needle. The sweater is made with an oatmeal color beige as the background or main color, and the contrast color is a gradient yarn that fades from dark teal through blue, purple, and a deep raspberry color. The motif created by the contrast color is something like a feather, with each "feather" sweeping from the neckline down and to the right.

This is my handsome little gentleman, Mac!
Mac, a dog who's mostly white with small spots and some larger black markings on his face and back, stares up at the camera while lying on the floor with his front legs outstretched. The rug underneath him is a faded blue and rust bohemian floral print, and to his left side are a couple of grey dog beds.
