Brush Script is used for 'I Guess That' in a scroll banner sits above a simplistic rounded lowercase 'courage' in the same colour as the shadows of the banner. 'Ain't' is also in a rounded style font, while Allowed takes up the bottom of the canvas in a brighter red, with beveled highlights and shadows. The crossarm of the A spirals around like the tail of the Rampent Lion, and the end arm of the 'w' is elongated and pointed, like a blade. Lyrics are taken from the Shinedown song, "Thick as Thieves".

I forgot to post updates on this but procrastinating other WIPs by revisiting this in May and then in the last week to finish it off.

Hey everyone, I'm Etlu :) I'm an illustrator and designer that spent a few years focusing on a range of other styles, and recently trying to come back around to dynamic figures and characters. I only have one real mermaid, but have some other water/underwater pieces too!

Can't find the cyndaquil I KNOW is floating around - but I found pokemon fusion sketches instead.

pro: the photos widget with an album of WIP screenshots had been a great idea
con: I forgot I kept adding newer WIPs of Eldritch Tortoise without deleting old ones (bc easier to do comparisons with current progress) so it's just like a 75% chance of Turtle gleefully waiting to crawl out your screen
