Freedom of speech is being allowed to say something, it does not absolve one of the consequences.
A fair and unbiased moderation (complete with transparancy on reporting and punishments) would be a good start, not protecting abusers and silencing victims, .... That is where I would start.

Nobody is trying to shut it down. There is nothing wrongg with the site, it's what happens on site that is wrong. We ask for change, like what is being asked all over the site every day all day long. Respect for people of colour, transgender, women,...

These messages would have gone over a lot better if you weren't actively trying to poach users from other platforms while shooting down their attempts to improve kink and bdsm environments.
