At 1TWh of grid batteries globally by 2030, out of a (non-primary) energy demand of 120,000TWh, batteries are not replacing fossil fuels

Hydrogen has a 1,220TWh potential by this time (IEA), and grids/infrastructure are just starting to be built

No hydrogen at all without infra to transport it!

The cost of hydrogen is not going to stay at €5-10/kg. As we know from your recent interview with Erik Rakhou, the cost of hydrogen is expected to drop significantly in the next few years; like every other technology at scale

And then electrification and batteries are both massively subsidised..

This needs massive public investment, just like batteries - and where batteries are a) entirely imported b) massively subsidised

Electrification is entirely dependent on subsidies, and then not at all shielded from price shocks etc..
