Okay okay one more, here's a proper sketch. I can't remember the last time I drew Ixis on physical paper. Hell, I don't know if I've ever drawn him with a pencil as opposed to pen and computer.

Ixis's eyes begin bright red, but after a certain event later in the story they take on a pink gradient. I miss the pink, I'm looking forward to someday catching up to the original version of the comic.

If any old fans or friends from SJ find me from any potential Twitter exodus; I'd love it if you gave WOE a fresh read. I've spent years fully remaking this relic with improved art and writing, a more mature Ixis and Reina, better pacing and consistency, etc.

I also occasionally post non-comic art and want to do more of that in 2026! I'm far from the best artist but I try to capture fun vibes and I'm hoping to work more on my fundamental skills as time goes on, (better late than never.)

I have rebounded from my anxieties of previous weeks into feeling energized and merry this week. I dunno how long until this boomerangs back into a Mood but I'm gonna enjoy it while it lasts.
