clem is going to get doomed yuri with ysayle, but we all know how that’ll end. aymeric was tentatively considered but clem has serious disorganised/avoidant attachment issues it just wouldn’t work alongside his duty to ishgard. thancred is up in the air, but it wouldn’t be more than a fling/one-off.

favorite aspect of stormblood is that when we come to a new area lyse is like 😮😮😮😄😄😄☺️☺️☺️ she's full of wonderment and excitement to see more and it heightens the excitement like yes lyse!! yanxia is so colorful! the steppe is so wide and flat! it's amazing!! if I was there I would be the same way!!

Fordola feels like an anomaly in the writing of XIV. Antagonist woman whose antagonism isn't in any way tied to her being a woman. Has actual long-lasting friction on both a personal and broad level that doesn't get discarded the moment a main character wants to be friends. I miss Fordola.
