Yes adding on to what others have said, there was a tariff based on purchase price. At the time this crossed the border I think the tariff was 10%. This car was pretty cheap, so not too painful. But still, these tariffs are so dumb.

I guess if you can ignore the fact that Tesla’s CEO is actively attempting to dismantle American democracy, it’s probably pretty easy to accept a car that that steers you into a ditch
