In the 1970s TVNZ used to play the BBC's Black & White Minstrel Show, which ran on the BBC until 1978. Perhaps this is the moral climate in which Mr Batchelor wishes to situate his "not-racism"

Indisputable proof that middle-aged males aren't solely thinking about the Roman Empire

Admittedly three of the 13 chapters are about them, but that means 10 aren't

Highly recommended 2023 doco by Annie Goldson on 1970s-80s avant-garde NZ theatre / cabaret troupe Red Mole, who flew the coop in 1978 to New York to continue the experimentation in Gotham's most hard-bitten, end-of-days state of decay. (Screening on Neon).

Nothing but good wishes for Dame Gaylene but NZ has woefully small-town blinkers on if it thinks that 6 storeys is "high-rise"

If we want to knock the housing crisis on the head EVERY city suburb needs apartments like this

Chose the spots wisely & build them carefully = you end the crisis
