Yep, that’s absolutely the punchline. It’s also a comic about parenting, and how the idea of whether it’s easier when they’re babies or when they get older is a complicated one. Both things can be true, and imo this series often does a great job with that kind of thing.

Exactly. Sometimes you run into things like colic, where your baby is upset and you don’t know why, but for the most part there’s a limited number of reasons they might be crying, and you figure out pretty quickly how to know which it is.

As a dad, in my experience it gets more complicated. Baby’s are simple, you just gotta keep the alive. They aren’t necessarily easy, but they’re simple. As kids get older, you can relax a bit more, but then you have to answer tough questions, and teach them how to navigate the world. Complicated.

Unfortunately that’s the point. They WANT this to make it harder for people to get the treatment they need, so they don’t have to pay out as much, and can say “look at all the money we saved the taxpayers”.

It sucks so bad that Mahomes is gonna be credited with a 3 int game, because he only threw one interception in this game.

It sucks, cause that’s at least two, maybe three games that he’s arguably cost the Chiefs this year. This one not quite as solely on his shoulders, but a couple games earlier this season were lost on drops/interceptions he caused.
