Plans unveiled today for two new towers on Great Ancoats Street - one will be 47 storeys tall, the other 25. They'll have 758 flats and 45k sq ft commercial space

Last but not least, Henley have massive plans for Regent Road, and want to build six towers and a park on the retail park. One of them will be 273m tall, and would be the UK's third-highest building

It's not got planning permission yet, but documents show it would be 241m tall.

The first to announce a new tower was Renaker, with Plot D. It will go next to Deansgate Square, and it's got planning permission.
It's going to be 213m tall, so 12m taller than current record holder. It's got a lantern design at the top.

The Particular Baptist Chapel has been on Rochdale Road for about 180 years.

BREAKING: The restoration of Manchester Town Hall is at least £76m overbudget, it's been confirmed.

The project is getting more cash soon, and managers say there's 'two years of work left' - but are hopeful they can speed up and finish in July 2026.
