As a beginner artist, I highly recommend avoiding AI pics as reference. As an experienced artist, it's no diff than normal pics as long as you don't trace it.

I wouldn’t 'cancel' someone for doing this. Using a reference isn’t the same as outright copying—it’s a common part of the creative process, whether it’s for pose, color, composition, or design. As a creative artist, you have the ability to improve and refine what AI generates.
