I just saw yet another new movie shot on digital with thousands of digital effects work plus scenes shot with LED screens

and yet

the image wasn't "flat" and covered in "digital sludge", the movie didn't feel "safe and clinical" in any way

I wonder if those YouTube video essays are misleading
