It would be so nice if Google Calendar caught up with the times and offered more options to block scams and #spam: “Block invitations from *all* unknown senders” seems a bit drastic when you use your calendar for work.

The #ArtificialRuby meetup is one of my favorite meetups. If you’re working with #AI and #Ruby, you should check it out!

I’m so grateful for @rubycentral.org and #RailsConf: It was great to meet old friends and make new #RubyFriends!

It’s amazing to be part of this community, both inspiring and inclusive. I hope we can meet again soon at other regional conferences! ♥️

There is a lot of value in programming just for the fun of it. I love this message by @tenderlove.dev in his keynote.

Tinkering with weird stuff can be a great way to learn things beyond what you do at work.

Now @tenderlove.dev kicking off the last keynote of the final #RailsConf. So many puns!
July 10, 2025 at 9:10 PM
Final day at the final #RailsConf. Last presentation before the last keynote.

@excid3.com and @ufuk.dev saying thanks to everyone who makes #Rails and #RailsConf2025 possible.

So many puns in the keynote of keynotes by the one and only Aji Slater. The audience is loving their freshly baked memes!

I don’t think @tenderlove.dev will be able to keep up with all their puns. We will see later today!

Solid advice by @kaspth.com: Anyone can contribute to #Rails and any #Ruby gem.

It’s not so much about reading the source code of the library, but mostly about interacting with it and actively debugging library code.

Apparently enforcement agencies, government entities, phone companies won’t do anything to block robocallers.

This leads me to believe that the business for robocaller blocker services is safe for the foreseeable future.

I know this is a little bit too nitpicky, but why aren't #GitHub URL paths consistent?

"issues/108" 👉 github.com/railsbump/ap...

"pull/109" 👉 github.com/railsbump/ap...

I'd expect "pulls/109" to _just work_ but that returns all the PRs by user "109" 🤣

My first impression of the new iPhone 15. The dynamic island is pretty cool and usable. Perfect for the multitasker.

You can quickly tap and go to the 2 things that are running in the background. In my case: Uber + Tidal
