not sure if this is humblebrag or simply brag, but I just did a 30-minute interview with a journalist from @franceculture.fr in French and was surprised by how well it went (not perfectly, but entirely comprehensibly); I don't know where this comes from given that sadly I never use French these days

PSA: don't submit anything to the Journal of Media & Religion, not clear they are still operational despite their website; journal doesn't use the system, have to email editor who doesn't respond, 4 months wasted, I withdrew the submission (that's a 1st for me)
