"La Fermette Marbeuf" was originally a prestigious gourmet restaurant in Paris, known for its "1900 room" , the dining room of the Langham Hotel. Today, the space is home to the Beefbar restaurant.

The room was designed by architect Émile Hurtré, wall panels were painted by Jules Wielhorski

In France it was called Art Nouveau, in Germany Jugendstil. In Hungary it was called szecesszió (Secession). One of the masters of szecesszió was the architect Ödön Lechner (1845-1914)
