Most of the time the late Georgian/Early Victorian wardrobe remains closed to visitors. The aim was to make it appear as if the three women just left after searching for something.

This past December I had the honor of creating a temporary exhibit in the main bedroom of the Nichols House Museum. Home to three very progressive women at the turn of the 20th century it was a delight to choose pieces that recreated their early adulthood in the house (1890s).
