It was relatively easy to get approval from the board and the local METC so I would advise all centers that are treating these patients to enter the registry. Data entry is straight forward and does not take up a lot of extra time.

As an alternative the European registry can provide insight in our own data as well as contribute to a wider acceptance and understanding in treating patients with acute and chronic deep venous thromboses.
