When you don’t wanna go home, but home wants you! I’m going to make an advent calendar out of inviting Stevie to Bluesky every day! (Or I’m going to give up in a few days, worried that I seem overly obsessed.) Probably that. 😂

One fun photo from the Asbury Park Press is of Little Steven hugging his 1st manager, who is immortalized in one of his songs as Big Momma. The mother of another kid in Stevie’s 1st band, she got them gigs. Her kindness to teenagers set up at least one dynamite career. (Full photo credit at link.)

And it’s not just Clarence. He and Stevie are also playful at the microphone together in a way that guys who are overly concerned with seeming straight aren’t. Can you regularly pose like this and be straight? Sure. But guys who are super “into” being straight in American culture, don’t usually.
