Did you miss the part where the DNC lost the general election across the board in 2024? David Hogg was a vote for change and progress and the DNC would have taken any steps to remove him to preserve the status quo.

I never said that she didn't. The difference was that overturning it in additional to several other policies to get the interests of corporations and lobbyists out of American politics was central to both the policies and practice of his platform. What do *you* think Citizen's United was about?

He definitely would! A few years back they made it legal to buy and sell raw milk. The legislature celebrated its passing with several state Congress members drinking glasses celebratory of raw milk (before it was actually legal.) Several of them got seriously ill from the stunt.

I lived in West Virginia when I was young. I remember when they passed a law making it legal to eat roadkill. Fascinating priorities there.

And don't get me wrong, I am not a diehard Bernie bro by any means, but he saw where this has been heading since the Reagan administration. For that reason alone, the DNC (if they earnestly represent what they claim to) should be taking him more seriously.

Oh 1000%. The entire campaign finance system has been streamlined for corruption for decades and really kicked into high gear after the Citizens' United ruling. Just another thing Bernie was right about and nobody listened.

Facts! Between Bernie and Hogg, I'm convinced the DNC is run by people whose main goal is to prevent progressive candidates from getting nominated.
