As a youth, I lamented missing the political upheaval of the 60s. I felt like history had passed me by. When I found myself in the streets of Seattle, I saw that history was alive and we could make it.The outcomes of this moment are not determined. Find friends. Shove hard in directions that matter.

It's bad and it will get worse. That said, times of upheaval offer opportunities for big change. We can shape our world into something better, much better than what politicians envision for us. It's a great time to join an organization and get together with friends. Art by @toosphexy.bsky.social
