She is so good. I’m an expert in canine ethics and systems of morality and she’s such a good girl look at her!

Feels like it’s always those weirdos who say “everyone agrees with me, they’re just scared to say it” who accuse others of being in an echo chamber. Wonder why that is

My favourite part of Teams is how sometimes when you open it to join a meeting it blocks the whole UI with a “we’re optimising things for you” loading page for a full 5 minutes and then you have to explain why you were late. Thanks Teams! 🙏

I love it! That dog looks very wise…

I like the impossible stuff, though it can be a bit greasy. It’s trying to be a drop-in replacement for beef which may have an uncanny valley effect if the real taste/texture is a recent memory. Alternative proteins have a lot to offer, like tofu and chickpeas.

Awesome, thank you!!

Sorry to ask so far after the fact, but how are these saddles going for you? I’m considering picking up an SMP TRK to replace the super-uncomfy seat that came on my bike.

My mum is a wonderful person and we didn’t have many options at the time — it was one dose, take it or leave it, and it ruined my sleep. My GP tells me things are better these days. I’m hoping so. But I wish parents would stop underestimating how bad untreated ADHD is for their child over the years.

I got this from my mum — “it took away your creativity”. I’m sure many kids were on the wrong dose and it did bad things. But I do wish I ever got to know what it’s like to succeed at things I put my mind to, instead of growing up a living, suffering embodiment of my mother’s naturalistic fallacy.

Equal rights to all wibbly wobbly dangly wangly parts!

They added willy physics in a later patch too, so I assume they’re having fun with it. I guess the whole system adds implicit trans acceptance to every romanceable character in the game, which is something.

I guess making stopping work harder will also help. I know Jessica McCabe from HowToADHD puts a baby gate across the kitchen door so she can’t go sit down absentmindedly. A similar tactical obstruction in your working environment could help, like using a different PC login, or something physical.

Similar to your strategy, I commit to do it for an unreasonably short amount of time. If I say “I only have to do the dishes for 10 minutes, then I can stop”, I often get stuck into it and dismiss my timer going off, because at that point task switching is harder than continuing to do the dishes.

So far I have mostly looked at (and been recommended) at a lot of nature photography. It’s been good!
