My latest painting on wood called "Ladybugs."
When Marie's friend leaves for the summer, Marie is left alone. Since she loves to eat tomatoes, she gets a tomato plant. Her grandma shows her how to plant it. Will she succeed? Will the cutworms get it? Grades 2 and up. A good read-aloud book. Following are a few illustrations from the book.

Marie pedals by the grade school where her brother is playing basketball with two of his friends, Chubby and Wally. Her best friend, Ginger, is gone for the summer, maybe to never come back. Marie is bored. She needs a project to keep her busy.

At first, Marie's tomato plant doesn't produce any baby tomatoes. Her grandma thinks that maybe it didn't get pollinated by the bees. She is very unhappy.

Two more of my acrylic paintings on wood. Their names are Honey Bee and Ollie Bee. Remember to be kind to bumblebees. Generally, they won't sting you. Plus. they are pollinators for many of our flowers, fruits, and vegetable plants.

This is my little dog Toby. He is so cute and loveable. However, he has an underactive thyroid like me. The vet says he needs to lose 2-3 pounds. So my current project, along with writing my current children's book, is to take him for lots and lots of walks, which he loves.
