My first attempt at making bread since lockdown. I’m using my daughter’s starter. Not looking too bad pre baking. Looking at doing this once a week in term time.

Christmas Day tradition. Managed to get them all but not heard of some of the books. (Google might have been used!) Anyone else play this? hiddenbooks.nationalbooktokens.com

My daughter is a genius. She has made the Christmas cake as a wreath which has lots of benefits:
A) it is much easier to cut
B) more icing per slice
C) the middle circle has made a very cute mini cake.

Christmas shopping all done, wrapped and under the tree. Well, not wrapped as in an effort to be less disposable I’ve made up fabric Christmas bags we can reuse.

I’ve taken my daughter away for a night in a spa hotel. We had the afternoon tea. I might never need to eat again.

Every summer I set myself a new challenge. Last year was sewing a jumpsuit and this year was sewing a baby quilt and basket for my sister. Very pleased with how it has turned out. Finished just in time as I go and visit her on Wednesday. #EduSky #SummerHoliday

It has arrived. But now it is time for the #F1 so #sewing will have to wait.

What is everyone up to this wonderful Sunday morning? We’re off for a sail. Will pop the sails up in a bit and spend the day pootling around The Solent.

Doesn’t need charging
There are already 3D printable accessories available.

Cons. Manual tripod so you can’t track/multiple exposure and stacking photos as you can with the seestar
Small aperture so small light grasp so not sure how clear some night photos will be. Will have to try it out later.

A year ago I brought a Kickstarter project for a digital telescope using your phone. My #Hestia from Vaonis arrived today. In the few minutes I have played with it my initial thoughts are:
Pros very quick to set up
Really small and light
Easy to use on the app

I’m covering I’m covering conditions for life on earth, atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, energy resources and pollution. A biology teacher is covering the other side and we are sharing sustainability as it runs through everything.

Brilliant sailing this weekend. We got up to a massive 8 knots (ok some of that was tide assurance, but still fat for us). But how come my husband comes home bruise free and I always pick up some new ones?
