This isn’t about party loyalty or culture wars anymore — it’s about moral clarity. When credible information raises serious questions about abuse and power, silence becomes a choice. Everyone has to decide what they’re willing to excuse.

Hundreds — maybe thousands — of people braved the cold and took to the streets in Portland to make their voices heard. That’s what civic engagement looks like: people showing up, marching, and demanding accountability from those in power.

If there are credible allegations or evidence, the answer is justice — not rage. Survivors deserve truth, accountability, and consequences delivered through the rule of law, not slogans that ultimately help no one.

Protecting children has to be the absolute priority. That means fully funded investigations, rapid response when kids go missing, and consequences that actually match the severity of these crimes — not delays and plea deals that let predators slip through.
