But I'm a Cheerleader (1999)

Highly recommend this to the queer girlies! Don't be put off by the rest of my list lol.

Independence Day (1996)

Another film I absolutely rinse all the time. Amazing creature work (autopsy scene specifically) and 90s action Sci fi cheese and Jeff Goldblum. Everything I'm looking for from a film really. This is on par with Jurassic Park for me.

The Thing (1982)

One of the best films ever made. Intense, practical effects, the arctic, paranoia. I love it.
November 20, 2024 at 3:09 PM
Deep Blue Sea (1999)

I LOVE SHARK FILMS. I love scary ocean stuff. This one is fucking great. Huge animatronic sharks. Theme tune and a small part (chef with a parrot) played by LL Cool J (real name Ladies Love Cool James)

Earth Girls are Easy (1988)

A film about a girl and her roommate giving 3 aliens makeovers into hot himbos. Unfortunately the musical number 'I like them big and stupid' was cut from the film.

Face Off (1997)

I love 90s cheesey action so much. Ridiculous plot. Huge.
November 20, 2024 at 3:01 PM
Blade Runner (1982)

A dream in every sense.

E.T (1982)

If I have one autistic hyper fixation, it's E.T. - I know everything about this film.
November 20, 2024 at 2:59 PM
Death Becomes Her (1992)

A really good example of combined practical and digital effects. Also two of the hottest women I've ever seen in my life.
November 20, 2024 at 2:58 PM
Jurassic Park (1993)

I watch it about twice a month. I just think it's great.
November 20, 2024 at 2:52 PM
Society (1989)

Ridiculous practical effects, terrible acting. Love it.
November 20, 2024 at 2:49 PM
Little Shop of Horrors (1986)

Audrey is sooo hot. I love the music. I love the dentist. I love the Audrey II puppet. So good.

Back to the Future (1985)

My favourite film. No notes.

(plus one of my best friends and I love to do K and watch the trilogy at the end of a party weekend, and always over Christmas 💘)

Rocky Horror (1975)

I used to watch this a lot as a child (it was the only adult VHS we had on the yacht when we were travelling) and I do know every single word of the script. Had the same admiration of Eddie that I do of Maverick. I watch it very often.
November 20, 2024 at 2:44 PM
Bedazzled (2000)

I based my entire sexuality on this film.
November 20, 2024 at 2:40 PM
Con Air (1997)

One of the best films ever made. Everything is HUGE - the score, the characters, the terrible accents, the terrible logic enacted by the judge and the guards, the ending. I love it so much.
November 20, 2024 at 2:38 PM
Alien (1979)

Alien is the female experience.
November 20, 2024 at 2:32 PM
Aliens (1986)

Vasquez.
November 20, 2024 at 2:31 PM
Top Gun (1986)

The soundtrack is my favourite genre of music and the machismo cheesiness was absolutely instrumental to my teenage self and the whole "do I want to fuck him or be like him" thing
