This, I think, is what you were speaking of earlier - people being confused because they do not know which box to put you in. Elf or Uruk, friend or threat, and so on.

Yes. Thinking beings who are bipeds, are not the only thinking beings who do this - I have known others.
That is how I know they are doing this, putting other beings into boxes and being confused or upset or angry or all of those things when they find that the box does not fit.

It's awful (to say the least!) that they are fining/jailing people for wanting better working conditions, but I am glad there is good news on this particular front!

They cannot see the whole of you, because they only see the parts - those they like or at least understand and those they do not - that is how it sounds to me.
