Today marks the anniversary of voyager 1’s launch on the year 1977. This time-lapse shows the approach of Voyager 1 during a period of over 60 Jupiter days in 1979.
This spacecraft became the first human made object to reach interstellar space in 2012.

Went to the DC Downtown Christmas Market vs. the DuPont Circle over the weekend. DuPont was only one street, the Downtown one had more space + more food trucks & games. If you get overwhelmed easily by crowds I'd avoid the DuPont one; it's the similar vibe as the downtown but smaller.
