Huge fan of the em-dash. So much so that I have to occasionally read over my stuff and see if replacing a couple with a colon (or semi) would hide the fact that I adore them.

I believe that latter part was pretty much how John put it himself. No-one could replace Freddie, so what was the point (for him) in continuing. But yeah, very novel for someone in such a high profile band to just be able to turn around and walk away and be content with that.

At 11 years old it was pretty much catastrophic lol. I remember being allowed to stay up late when we eventually got home & Mum was over the moon to see Queen.

I'd just broken up from St Hilda's that morning and we were driving from Whitby to Peterhead. We listened to most on the radio but I remember we missed Spandau Ballet on TV and was heartbroken 😂
