My son & I just stood side by side & made a treat using my Grandmother’s old double boiler. I tried not to tear up thinking of all the times I’d done the same with her. Then I heard her screech in my head, “Damnit, Shannon! Don’t let that chocolate harden before you wash it out!” 🙄 Thanks, GM.

Losing your crojo is a sad occurrence for any crocheter. Finding just the right pattern and feeling it return is glorious. I just bought this on Etsy from Phatwool and can’t wait to get started. #crochet #eattherich

So even though there was some ridiculous rant from Trump about Kentucky the other day in addition to all his federal aid bullshit, he still approved it when put on the spot and Kentucky’s eyes were on him.

Strangely, our governor is a blue dot in a red state & almost everyone here loves him. He posted this on FB & I chuckled. Andy keeps us updated on everything but he wasn’t just telling us that he requested aid. In tagging Felon47, he made sure that Trump knows that WE know he had requested it.

Sorry I’ve been quiet for a few days. I had to take a beat and remember how to breathe. Panic attacks are a bitch. Anyway, I found this and thought the good people of Bluesky deserved to have it for various internet posting purposes. It almost made me chuckle.

I need our elected officials on both sides of the aisle to stand up and have some Rage Against the Machine energy right now (even though they are the machine that was originally raged at). This damned country was built on rebellion & we’d all do well to remember that.

I know we’re all being selective about where we shop but I also know that most of us can’t afford $11 for 12 eggs. Kroger has their brand still listed for more reasonable price. I don’t know if this varies by state or region, though.

My 5th fuzzy family member is Jace. He’s our alarm system, crumb vacuum, & all around bestie. People who don’t know him tend to be intimidated but the big secret is, he actually thinks he’s a cat. Don’t tell him I told you that. His hobbies include staring contests & barking at EVERYTHING. #dogs

The fourth and final cat in our house is Double. He’s fluffy, sweet, and a little stupid. We brought him as a half-starved stray and he became the only one who gets along with everybody all the time. He has machetes for claws but he only uses them on accident. His only hobby is being a lump. #cats

This one is my sweet demon boy and Ghost’s brother, Turkey. He’s almost died twice, disappeared for a month once, and is the bane of the other cats’ existences. If there is chaos to be caused, he is at the heart of it. His hobbies include ambushing his housemates and screaming at his humans.
