We had our Christmas night out at the Sebright Arms which is small, I’ll say about 10 years ago. These were playing that night. A colleague wanted to stay on but was overruled. Off we went to a mediocre restaurant instead

A decent sunflower coming up probably belongs in the totally normal category too

Is it penalising? They are greener yes but they still use and cause wear and tear on infrastructure. They still contribute to congestion

The 10 pennes are in addition to several other pasta types, it’s definitely ours which is more restrictive. I’ve cited Albania because I was there most recently and objectively is ‘less developed’. But you could pick any European country, hands down they have more real choice than us

It’s an illusion of choice, all our supermarkets sell variations of the same things. We can buy a few pastas but go to a supermarket in Albania, they about 10 variations just of penne! Different lengths, thicknesses. UK supermarket fruit & veg is pathetic, 3-4 melons out of the dozens available

Get what you’re saying about Linkin Park but they are still enormous, definitely a headliner. Bush are only in small font, they used to be massive

It’s the Smokehouse in Ipswich, thanks!

Is this tour a 10pm finish again? My last train from Ipswich is 22:43 and it’s a 20 minute walk
October 26, 2025 at 7:29 PM
Oh wow I saw that. I’m gutted that the tour coincides with when I’m likely away. Never have luck with Mogwai

Yes! Too many of those idiots around me. Why travel from far away for a band that’s not played for 20+ years, and I assume pay a lot to get here and for accommodation, to just talk through it? Regional gigs are better

Hard to believe this is the same Liz that presented on 6 until not that long ago. Sadly I think she’s a textbook victim of social media radicalisation. A frog that doesn’t realise it’s being boiled

Probably worth looking at an electoral map of Essex at all tiers. It’s no longer a sea of blue. The shift has been taking place for a while now. Just a shame about where Clacton and the banks of the Thames are going

If you require migrants to have higher standards than the average Brit does that not make them more employable, thus disadvantaging the average Brit to appease the bigoted?

Isn’t the point actually that the corporate chains are becoming data collection exercises with a food offer on the side?

Glad you made it and it’s perfect Darren weather. Hope you also found the nice deli a few doors down

There is an example of a drummer, Alabama Shake’s was arrested for child abuse. They are still played, in fact they’ve just returned for first time since then

I think it’s also to do with how prominent the wrong’un is. Lostprophets was a group endeavour, the rest of the band have been truly shafted. But play Fake Sound of Progress and Watkins is most of what you hear

Saw Public Service Broadcasting last year, they made a thing at the start of no phones and no talking. It wasn’t compulsory but almost everyone went with it
