Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam.
Quite disappointing, tbh. A bit drab, and a pain in the arse to pose, ball joints pop out, bits clash, accessories fall off...
The build was fun though, and lots of white makes you really feel like you're "doing something" with the panel lining.

After 3 and a half years of sitting on my lap, 3 days ago Echo switched sides. No reason, no explanation. She just loves Anna more now. I'm genuinely grieving lol I hate it.

Finished another Gunpla kit and discovered you can pose two stands on the same base and I'm Screaming and Crying this is the best hobby I've had yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a bonus at work the same time as my 40th, so spent all my leisure time for a solid weeks searching to find these kits at not toooo much of a markup (4 of them were exactly at or below RRP!)

Something I'm learning is that posing Gunpla well is actually really difficult and a genuine skill that needs developing.
I tried to copy a picture in the manual for this kicking pose and damn it doesn't look anything like it lol

"Finished" my first Gunpla. Build, gloss coat, panel lines, 128 decals, matte top coat.
I have weathering pencils to try but honestly I'm desperate to get the Zeong to this stage first so I can get a new box opened!
The pencils work from a matte surface so I can come back any time to experiment...

This was absolutely fantastic. Maybe lacked some of the punch of Tampa, but was much rounder, sadder, and fucking hilarious.
